We study human visual perception and the neural pathways that enable and limit perception. We use psychophysics to quantify visual perception and we measure human brain structure and activity using several instruments: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetoencephalography (MEG), electroencephalography (EEG), and intracranial EEG in patients. Our lab is affiliated with the NYU Psychology Department , NYU Center for Neural Science, and the NYU Neuroscience Institute. We also collaborate with the NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and the Stanford Human Intracranial Cognitive Intracranial Program.
