Adjunct Professor of Psychology


Dr. Preziosi is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University – Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has a BA in Psychology from Middlebury College, and earned her MST from Pace University while part of the Teach for America program. Dr. Preziosi has worked in a number of different community clinics and hospitals in the New York metropolitan area, with experience in forensic, substance abuse, adult outpatient/inpatient and emergency settings. She also has extensive training in individual, couples, and family therapy.

Dr. Preziosi is the Clinical Director of the Mental Health Court for Bronx County, which provides opportunities for alternative-to-incarceration for defendants with serious mental illness. She also conducts trainings and workshops for organizations about various aspects of mental health at the Center for Urban Community Services, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.  Dr. Preziosi has been a guest lecturer at other institutions including Columbia University, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, and Yeshiva University. She supervises and trains New York psychology students in doctoral and masters programs as well as psychiatry residents in therapy, assessment, and research.   Dr. Preziosi maintains a private practice in general adult and couples psychotherapy. To learn more, go to
