Visit Our Lab

Participating in a study only takes about 15 minutes, but your visit may be a little longer to give your baby time to get acquainted. Evening and weekend hours are available.

  • Your baby will sit in a high chair or on your lap, and watch a "live action" event, play with toys, or play a hide and seek game.

  • We will measure how long your baby looks at the objects or reaches for the hidden toys.

  • Like adults, babies look longer at things they find new or surprising. Sometimes we expect babies to be surprised; sometimes not.

  • You will be sitting right beside your baby during the entire study.

  • Brothers and sisters are welcome to join us!

  • We can reimburse you for your travel expenses, and your baby will receive a small gift for having participated.

Children find our studies fun and interesting, and so do their parents!

A great opportunity to learn about and be a part of current research on infants!
