How do babies

At the NYU Infant Cognition Center, we study how babies see, understand, and learn about:

  • the nature of objects,
  • categories,
  • numbers,
  • and language

Our studies have shown...

that babies know much more than people once thought! Surprisingly, babies often view the world like adults. But in some ways, they see things quite differently!
